Membership entitles members to use facilities and to participate in programs and events provided by the community league.  Our combined membership fees, fund-raising activities, volunteer services, and matching government grants all provide for this enjoyment.

Membership Benefits:

* Use of Malmo Plain’s outdoor skating rink and sand volleyball courts
* 10 free visits at City Recreation Centres. (Closest is Confederation Leisure Centre)
* 20% discount on additional visits and passes at City Recreation Centres

To obtain City Recreation Centre privileges, take your Malmo Plains Community League membership card, along with users registered on this card (all at once if possible) to a recreation centre, and a photo ID card will be issued to each member. This card is then shown upon entry to the centre. The staff will notify the user when the limit of 10 free visits has been reached. After the 10 visits are used, those with a valid membership have the option of purchasing additional passes at a 20% discount.

* Community soccer and hockey programs
* Community league social events such as annual dances, family dinners, and carnivals
* Hall rental privileges (Malmo Hall can only be rented by Malmo Plains community league members)
* Voting privileges at Malmo Plains Community League’s annual general meetings

Volunteers who provide a day or more of community league volunteer work (e.g. casino worker, board member, etc.) in one year are automatically entitled to a free family or household membership in the succeeding year.
 
Memberships are effective September 1 – August 31 of the next year.
