Radon is the 2nd leading cause of Lung Cancer and 1st leading cause in non-smokers. It’s a silent killer that could be lurking in your home without you even knowing!
To raise awareness Malmo Plains Community League hosting a free Radon Awareness Information Session on Saturday, November 15, presented by Greg Gazin, who he himself had been impacted by high levels in his home.
To also support this safety initiative to raise awareness, MCL also unveiled its Radon Detector Loan Program, managed by Chris Ouellette, allowing residents to borrow digital radon monitors for free. Watch for more details coming soon. You can also email radon@malmoplains.com.
