Sand and grit for your sidewalks
Don't let your sidewalk be a skating rink. If you need sand or grit for your walkway, the City is providing this at the Lendrum Community League parking lot at approximately 56 Ave and 113A Street. Look for the green sandbox; bring your own bucket/scoop.
The sandbox at the Malmo Community Hall is no longer being filled by the City and the grit there is for use around the league grounds.
Got elderly or mobility-challenged neighbours? Consider getting some extra sand/grit for them, too.
Recap and Resources: Radon Awareness Information Session
If you missed the informative session on November 15, you can watch the video (YouTube) or see the slides here:
Malmo also has a new Radon Detector Borrowing Program:
Click to see all the details or email radon@malmoplains.com if you're interested in borrowing a detector.
Tip: If you have a direct page on your Squarespace site for the video/slides and the borrowing program, replace the two tracked links above with your own clean URLs.

You still have time to provide input about the community hall as this committee looks at improving it to best serve our community.
